The following heroes are divided according to their stats:
- Close combat (good at leading Infantry) iconic heroes: Tusk Shield, Alpha Wolf and White Lion
- Ranged combat (good at leading Archer) iconic heroes: Soul Transporter, Daughter of Ocean and Wind Summoner
- Mounted combat (good at leading Cavalry) iconic heroes: Mammoth Predator, Shadow and Valkyrie
- Versatile combat (suitable for all occasions) iconic heroes: Sawtooth Blade, Fist Blade and Executioner

2.2 How to combine heroes?

The 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th skills are Command Skills, while 2nd, 5th and 8th skills can be Combat Skills, Pre-battle Skills or Status Skills. 1st and 6th skills increase the number of warriors the hero can lead. It is suggested to upgrade them first.
2.3 How to place a hero?
The position of a hero in the queue should be determined by the effective range of their 2nd, 5th and 8th skills. Place those with short range in the front row, and those with long range in the back row. In addition to the effective range, heroes with DMG reduction skills are suitable for the front row.
2.4 How to choose a hero?
The damage dealt by a hero is mainly determined by their 2nd, 5th and 8th skills. The damage dealt by the warriors led by them is affected by hero skills, researches and wild creatures. When forming a queue, it is necessary to consider the trigger chance, damage percentage, attack times, lasting turns, etc.
You can build several queues based on the skill description, and compare them through actual battles to find the best one.
Queue hero combination suggestions:
- Squad 1: Heroes with the highest percentage of DMG Reduction and defense skills. Skill ranges are short (1-3)
- Squad 2: Heroes with a higher percentage of DMG Reduction and defense skills. Skill ranges are medium (3-5)
- Squad 3: Heroes with a lower percentage of defense skills. Skill ranges are long (4-5)

6. Hero Star-up
Star-Up Requirements:
- Unlock the “Awakening” skill of a Hero to unlock Star system; Unlock all skills of a Hero (no skill level requirements) to use the Star-Up feature for him/her.
- You can only perform Star-Up for Battle Heroes whose quality is legendary. The default Star level of all Heroes is 0-Star.
How to Star Up:
- The Star Level of a Hero determines how many skills can break through the default level cap, which is Lv.10. For example, for a Hero on 0-Star, his skill level cap is Lv.10, but when you bring him to 1-Star, then his 1st skill can be upgraded to Lv.20. And then when you bring him to 2-Star, his 2nd skill can be upgraded to Lv.20, and so on.
- Each Star Level is affiliated to a Lv.10 Hero Skill, this means, if you want to bring a Hero to 1-Star, his 1st skill must be at Lv.10; and if you want to bring him to 2-Star, his 2nd skill must reach Lv.10. (Unlocking all skills is necessary for unlocking the Star-Up feature)
- Star-Up requires a certain amount of Hero Bracelets, Resources, and [Promotion Badges] in some cases. The cost will change as the Star Level increases. Please obtain Promotion Badges in VIP Shop and some Packs.
Hero Skills Breakthrough:
- After Star-Ups, the corresponding Hero Skills will have higher level limit. When a Star-Up is completed, the affiliated Skill will be upgraded to level 11 directly.
- As skills are upgraded under the new level cap, they will become even more powerful.
7. Hero Enlightenment
[Opening Conditions]
To have the Hero Enlightenment system unlocked, the server must be at least 90 days old and your Chief’s Hall must reach level 15. This system benefits your Legendary Combat Heroes. To unlock it, you must have at least one hero at level 50 with all their skills upgraded to level 10. The Enlightenment feature is progressively opened for your heroes, and the actual list of eligible heroes will be based on the game data.
[Activation Conditions]
To activate the Enlightenment feature for a hero displayed in the list, you must possess an exclusive enlightenment item for that hero. The hero enlightenment item will be located in the “Other” section of your inventory.
[Enlightenment Attributes]
Once you have unlocked the Enlightenment feature for a hero, you can activate the Enlightenment Attributes directly. These attributes can be increased by upgrades up to level 40 using Enlightenment Jades. It’s important to note that once a hero has been enlightened, the enlightenment level and elevation cannot be reverted. If an enlightened hero is decomposed, the hero’s enlightenment icon will return to the unactivated state, but the enlightenment records will be kept: the Power brought by the Enlightenment will be deducted after the hero is decomposed, and will be added back after the hero’s Enlightenment is reactivated.
[Enlightenment Skills]
Once a hero’s Enlightenment has been unlocked, the exclusive Skill 1 will be activated. This skill’s numerical value can be improved through Elevation, which requires the Enlightenment level to meet the requirements and the consumption of the hero’s Enlightenment item. The Elevations of the Enlightenment Skill 1, from low to high in colour, are: green, blue, purple, and orange. When the Enlightenment level reaches level 10, a new Skill 2 will be unlocked. However, the numerical value of this skill remains fixed and cannot be elevated. Similarly, when the Enlightenment level reaches level 20, a new Skill 3 will be unlocked, but the numerical value of this skill also remains fixed and cannot be elevated.
[Effective Scenes]
The bonus attributes from the hero’s Enlightenment are effective in any scene, except for Trio Clash. When you use an enlightened hero in battles, the battle report mail will display the hero skill section with the corresponding Enlightenment icon.
[Enlightenment Gallery]
Entry Tap the Heroes Lodge building, and it will display a new Enlightenment Gallery button.
[Gallery Lists]
The Gallery displays the exclusive items of the heroes who can be enlightened and is divided into three categories: activated, to be activated, and not activated.
[Gallery Points]
Unlocking a hero’s Enlightenment and successful elevations will grant you Gallery Points. The higher your Gallery Points, the better the attributes from the Gallery. You can easily check your points gaining history in the log.

9. Hero Skills
Hero skills are divided into three categories, namely: Growth Skills, Command Skills and Combat Skills.
Growth Skills:
1. Growth skills require the hero to be garrisoned in a specific building to be activated. They are good for Village development.
2. Growth skills marked with “active” have special effects. Only when the garrisoned hero uses the skill actively can its special effect take effect. After each use, there is a cooldown time.
Command Skills:
1. Command skills can improve warrior stats of the current hero’s squad or queue, including basic stats such as ATK, DEF, Gathering and Speed.
2. Command skills marked with “active” have special effects. Only when the hero is deployed into a queue in Military Marquee and uses the skill actively can its special effect take effect. After each use, there is a cooldown time.
Combat Skills:
1. Combat skills are one of the keys that determine battle results.
2. They are released by heroes in battles.
[Hero Bracelet] Usage:

Each hero’s combat skill has an effective attack range. When a combat skill is released, only targets within effective range can be attacked. Range definition: A march queue can have up to 3 heroes. Each hero leads a squad. Squads are divided into front row, middle row and back row according to queue order. The distance between each squad is 1. For example: When two troops face each other, the positioning on the battlefield is: Your back row – Your middle row – Your front row – Enemy front row – Enemy middle row – Enemy back row
If a hero’s skill attack range is 2 and their squad is put in the front row, then it can attack the front row and middle row of the enemy. If this hero’s squad is placed in the middle row, it can only attack the front row of the enemy. If this hero’s squad is placed in the back row, it cannot attack any enemy squad.
10. Commissioning
In Home of Heroes, you can assign heroes to specified buildings, so as to take advantage of hero skills’ effects.
Once a hero is commissioned, you can’t remove them from the corresponding building.
Commission Skill:
After a hero is commissioned in a specified building, a relevant buff will be activated. If the hero still has an active skill, you can tap the skill button on the commissioned building to use it, or you can go to [Home of Heroes] – [Commission] – [Use Skill] to release the skill.
