Resources
There are 7 types of resources in the game but in order to optimize the production a lot of factors will have to be taken into account such as Residents.
I. Residents
The resident amount is a key factor to keep your village running smoothly. To see how many residents you have, please check the “resident” icon next to your power number. Clicking on it to view the resident capacity (Resident Cap) and whether your resident amount is increasing. Importance of residents:
- Some buildings require a certain number of residents to upgrade.
- Gold Mine requires sufficient residents to produce Gold continuously.
Some related buildings: [Living Tent] Build more Houses and upgrade them to increase the Resident Cap of your base. [Bonfire Plaza] Food and Water in the Bonfire Plaza affect the resident growth of the base. When there is no Food and Water in the Mess Hall, the resident amount in the base will decline. [Gold Mine] In your village, Gold Mine is where the Gold is produced. The more Gold Mine Residents (independently from Resident Cap of the village), the higher the Gold production rate. Upgrade Gold Mine to increase Gold Mine Residents. If the current number of Village Residents is lower than Gold Mine Residents, Gold production will decrease. TIPS:
- Transport Food and Water to the Bonfire Plaza on a regular basis to keep sufficient residents in the base. Upgrade the Bonfire Plaza to increase its capacity for Food and Water, so that you can transport more resources to make them function longer.
- Residents in the village do not affect your units. A decrease of Residents will not lead to fewer units.
II. Food
Food is a base resource required to train Infantry and upgrade structures.
How to obtain: Build a Farmland near the fertile soil in the Village to get Food continuously as long as the Village has enough Charcoal. You can also get Food by trading with the Traveling Merchant, joining in events or buying packs.
Usage: Surplus Food can be used to train Infantry, research techs, upgrade structures, exchange for other items with the Traveling Merchant or donate to Clan research.
Different resource types have different “Load Ratio”. 1 Food takes up 1 Load. For example, if one of your march queues has 100 Load, this queue can carry 100 Food.
II. Wood
Wood is an important resource required to produce Charcoal, train Cavalry, upgrade structures and research techs.

Build and upgrade Gold Mines to get Gold continuously as long as the Village has enough population and Charcoal.
You can also get Gold by trading with the Traveling Merchant, joining in events or buying packs. (The Gold Production efficiency is affected by both population and Charcoal in the Village, so it is particularly important to maintain the population and Charcoal reserve)
Different resource types have different “Load Ratio”. 1 Gold takes up 4.2 Load.
For example, if one of your march queues has 420 Load, this queue can carry 100 Gold instead of 420.
Gold output is related to the population and level of Gold Mines, and the reserves of Charcoal. Upgrade the level of a Gold Mine to increase the population required to operate it. It’s also crucial to ensure the population in the Village is sufficient. Therefore, you need to upgrade Dwellings, keep sufficient food and water in the Bonfire Square, and ensure the adequate supply of Charcoal.
Hint:
You can also get Gold quickly by
1. Completing Main Missions
2. Trading other resources for Gold at the Travelling Merchant
3. Hunting wild creatures

3. Rapid Production:
The resource structures can acquire the [Rapid Production] ability via the research in the Foreteller’s Dome, using it gives you a huge amount of resources in a short time.
The more times Rapid Production is used, the lower the success rate will be, but this success rate will gradually recover with time. Tap any [Resource Structure] – [Rapid] to use Rapid Production and view current success rate.
Hint:
Garrison the heroes who have [Gold] Stat and unlocked relevant hero skills in Gold Mines to enable the [Rapid Production] of Gold Mines.
Rapid production has a certain success rate, which is reduced after each use. You can research relevant techs to unlock Rapid Production and improve its effect.
How to Use: Tap the resource structure, select [Rapid], and tap Start.

Use the [Harvest] active skill in [Crops Garden] to get the resource output of a future period immediately.
